The Thornwood Park Prairie Garden Project
Susan and Dominick Gatto founded The Thornwood Park Prairie Garden Project in 1998 along with 25 neighbors. The project’s goal is to preserve and continue to plant native prairie and woodland flowers and grasses. Located on the north bank of Kenilworth Avenue, the site extends for three blocks, directly north of Thornwood Park.
